Digital competency-based recruitment

A recruitment process that ends in a perfect match between candidate and company is the obvious goal for a recruiter, with a digital skills-based recruitment you get there in an efficient, profitable and open-minded way. But how does it really work?

Competence-based recruitment with digital tools

 

”First impressions last”, so you have 7 seconds on you to make a first impression that will determine what expectations and thoughts the other party will have towards you. It often lands on how the person behaves, if he keeps eye contact and sadly even his own prejudices. A competence-based recruitment screens off and shows only the essentials and does not allow a recruiter's own opinions and prejudices to take place. 

Some interesting examples of how to go about recruiting for skills can be that the candidate's name, gender or age is anonymised and that only the person's skills are used. To be able to match the company's expectations, a good thing to do can be to proceed after the needs analysis and create some questions the person can answer.
